Community Services

The Community Services Group was formed in response to the social service needs of local communities.

The Texas Neighborhood Service mission is supported by the Community Services Group's core values of treating all people with dignity and respect, providing diverse services and work environments, and providing services responsibly, and with integrity and excellence. The Community Services Group provides a wide array of community services to households in 7 counties across the North Central Texas area of Texas. Whether a person is suffering from the loss of a job or requires case management services to enter or re-enter the work force, or has limited work skills with which to support the family, The Community Services Group endeavors to meet individual needs of each household.

Utility assistance is provided to those who are looking for work and trying to transition out of poverty, the elderly/disabled or those having an energy crisis and meet the income requirements of the program. As an organization, we strive to be the best at what we do. Our commitment to you is that we will meet and exceed your expectations as you engage us in the process of assisting your household in your journey toward an economic self-sufficient, satisfying life in the community.

Our vision is to see families strengthened and communities transformed by planting and growing values in and through a network of integrated community services.

Compliance Information and Activities
TNS and the CSG must be responsive to a number of regulatory bodies. Some of these entities work to ensure a strong fiscal environment. Others work to see that Federal and State regulations are followed. CSG is governed and regulated by the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. To maintain that standing, CSG must comply with the policies, rules, and guidelines that these agencies and departments put forth. Meeting all of these requirements demonstrates our commitment to doing what is best for the individuals we serve and our employees. It also shows our willingness to be held accountable for the way we treat people and provide services.
